Can a school be a space of support rather than stress? Can teachers feel confident even when facing challenging behavioural situations?

These questions are at the core of the international project “BONDS – Building Resilient Skills for the Prevention and Management of Delinquent Behaviour in Schools.”

During the Information Day, participants learned about:

  • the project’s goals and philosophy;
  • the key outcomes expected to be achieved;
  • the work carried out within the project packages “Research, Methodology and Content Development” and “Communication and Sustainability.”

BONDS is more than a project. It is an approach. It builds bridges:

  • between teachers and students;
  •  between emotions and behaviour;
  •  between research and real school practice.

The project addresses pressing challenges:
▪ difficult behaviour among children and adolescents;
▪ emotional difficulties and conflicts;
▪ insufficient teacher preparation for such situations;
▪ teacher stress and professional burnout.

And it offers a new way of thinking:
not punishment, but understanding;
not control, but prevention;
not isolation, but support.

Project values:
✔ well-being of students, teachers, and school communities;
✔ partnership among all participants in the educational process;
✔ inclusion and empathy;
✔ evidence-based practices (SEL, LifeComp, developmental psychology).

Participants were also introduced to the project resources:

  • official website;
  •  social media platforms;
  • upcoming educational and digital tools, including:
  • methodological materials;
  •  online learning platforms;
  •  educational games;
  •  podcasts and storytelling;
  •  art therapy practices.

Together, we are creating a safe, supportive, and modern educational environment.#BONDS #ErasmusPlus #CofundedByTheEU #HlukhivNPU #EducationOfTheFuture #TeacherOfThe21stCentury #InternationalProjects #Psychology #SchoolWellbeing
