On February 17, 2026, PhD students had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Petro Luzan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Chief Researcher of the Department of Vocational Pre-Higher Education at the Institute of Vocational Education, NAPS of Ukraine, on the topic: “Methods of Organizing and Conducting a Pedagogical Experiment.”
The organization and implementation of a pedagogical experiment is a fundamental stage of scientific-pedagogical research for PhD students, as it allows for the objective testing of scientific hypotheses under controlled conditions. It constitutes an essential part of any dissertation on pedagogical topics.
The lecturer focused on the key characteristics of pedagogical experiments, requirements for their implementation, types of experiments, stages of a pedagogical experiment and their planning, as well as the specifics of selecting control and experimental groups and the mathematical processing of experimental results.
At the end of the lecture, an interactive “question-and-answer” session took place, during which Professor Luzan provided detailed explanations in response to the audience’s inquiries. The lecture was also attended by PhD students from Izmail State University of Humanities.
We sincerely thank Professor Petro Hryhorovych Luzan for sharing his valuable knowledge with the PhD students.
