В рамках міжнародної діяльності кафедри іноземних мов та методики викладання регулярно проводяться зустрічі (в сучасних умовах - онлайн) з колегами з партнерських навчальних закладів та організацій. І студенти, і викладачі охоче долучаються до таких заходів, адже теми завжди є актуальними.

Так, 30 травня 2023 року викладач школи університету Афьон Коджатепе Ільяс Сайкілі разом зі своїми студентами запропонували обговорення питань, що стосуються навчання та життя молоді в складних умовах війни в Україні та наслідків землетрусу в Туреччині. Присутні знайшли багато спільного вжитті студентської молоді обох країн. Обговорили питання підготовки ефективного вчителя англійської мови у сучасній освіті. Зустріч сприяла поглибленню міжкультурного взаєморозуміння та підвищенню мотивації до опанування іноземної мови.

Meeting the colleagues

As a part of the international activities of the Department of Foreign Languages and Teaching Methods, meetings are regularly held (online in modern conditions) with colleagues from partner educational institutions and organizations. Both students and teachers eagerly join such events, as the topics are always up to date. For example, on May 30, 2023, Instructor of English Mr. Ilyas SAYKILI from Afyon Kocatepe University School (Turkey), together with his students, proposed a discussion of issues related to the education and life of young people in the difficult conditions of the war in Ukraine and the consequences of the earthquake in Turkey. The participants found a lot of common ground between the student youth life of both countries. They also discussed training of effective English teacher in modern education. The meeting helped to deepen intercultural understanding and increase motivation to master foreign languages.
